The Botstiber Foundation presented a $500,000 check to Providence Animal Center in Media, Pennsylvania, in support of the animal welfare organization’s capital campaign.

The presentation took place outside of Providence Animal Center’s Shelter Services Building, the first phase of the capital campaign, which opened in May 2015. The second phase, the Kennel Support Wing, was unveiled this May and serves as the organization’s renovated surgical and medical suite. The third phase of the building project is hoped to be completed by May 2017. Construction is currently underway.

“This generous grant will help us fund the third phase of our Building a Forever Future project,” said Jo-Ann Zoll, Providence Animal Center Board President at Tuesday afternoon’s check presentation.

Specifically, the grant will provide a better, more efficient lobby area where potential adopters will have an enhanced adoption experience.

Additionally, the $500,000 grant will provide for a newly designed cat room including quiet areas for potential adopters to interact with their new cat away from the hustle and bustle of the cattery.
