Scholars Program
The Botstiber Foundation has provided full undergraduate scholarships and financial support to foreign students in the fields of science, technology and commerce since 2003. Students have come from 27 countries in Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe, to study in the U.S.
The current Botstiber Scholars Program is a joint initiative between the Botstiber Foundation and the Pennsylvania State University to provide sub-Saharan Africa students with a world-class education and leadership development training. This four-year undergraduate scholarship includes seminars, mentorships, and internship opportunities. With a rigorous academic environment and leadership programs, scholars gain the capacity and skills necessary to return to their home countries as change agents and leaders in their communities.
Botstiber Scholars were selectively chosen from sub-Saharan African countries based on their academic merit, financial need, good moral character, and leadership potential. Applicants must study in one of the approved majors in the fields of science, technology, and commerce, and agree to return to their home country to apply their education for the betterment of their community commerce.
